is visually tougher with a masculine feel using mainly veneer. It comes from man made objects and architecture. A reaction against softness, pieces like 3ML and The Recession are deliberately uncomfortable. Shadows and what's not there, glass and its translucency. Work that is not materially greedy and leaves a light footprint.
